As Californians look forward to celebrating a return to normalcy, the Encinitas City Council wants to ban balloons from your next birthday, graduation, wedding, or celebration event.
Tell your City Council members you oppose this unnecessary ban and that there are alternative options to encourage responsible ways to enjoy balloons:
Public education
Balloon weights and clips
Discouraging outdoor release
Recycling programs
Support balloon release bans
Tell the City Council that a ban is unnecessary: balloons that are weighed down and balloons that are recycled are balloons that stay out of the environment.
